KERAGAMAN JENIS BURUNG DI DAS TAYAWI TAMAN NASIONAL AKETAJAWE-LOLOBATA

ABSTRAK
Taman Nasional Aketajawe-Lolobata (TNAL) ditetapkan sebagai salah satu kawasan konservasi di Indonesia karenmemiliki peran penting dalam menjaga kelestarian sumber daya alam hayati serta keunikan ekosistemnya. Kegiataneksplorasi biodiversitas fauna bertujuan untuk melakukan identifikasi terhadap keragaman jenis burung di TNAkhususnya pada kawasan DAS Tayawi. Penelitian dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode transek jalur daidentifikasi jenis dilakukan secara visual baik melalui perjumpaan langsung maupun melalui suara. Hasil darpenelitian ini berhasil mengidentifikasi sebanyak 55 jenis burung yang dikelompokkan ke dalam 25 famili, 17 jenisdiantaranya merupakan jenis endemik kawasan Wallacea. Penurunan populasi yang ditandai oleh sedikitnya jenisburung yang dijumpai diindikasikan sebagai akibat kerusakan habitat dan perburuan.
